To explore the sweet dangers and unique recipes of the Candy Cavity biome, understand its distinct structures and crafting possibilities. The Candy Cavity is one of six rare cave biomes added by Alex's Caves, each offering unique blocks, items, mobs, and mechanics. These biomes are found in the Overworld, and to locate them, you must first discover an Underground Cabin. Inside, you will find loot barrels containing cave tablets and a Cave Compendium, which serves as a guide for the mod's biomes.
Candy Cavity Structures
The Candy Cavity biome features several unique structures. Each structure attempts to generate within a specific chunk region, with minimum distances between attempts to ensure they are spread out. These structures contribute to the biome's distinct appearance and challenges.
- Gingerbread Town: This structure attempts to generate once per 13x13 chunk region, with at least 11 chunks separating each attempt. It overrides the normal monster mob spawning within its area.
- Licowitch Tower: A Licowitch Tower attempts to generate once per 21x21 chunk region, with at least 16 chunks between attempts. Like the Gingerbread Town, it overrides monster mob spawning in its vicinity.
- Donut Arch: This structure attempts to generate once per 11x11 chunk region, with at least 7 chunks separating each attempt.
- Cake Cave: Cake Caves attempt to generate once per 6x6 chunk region, with at least 5 chunks between each attempt.
- Soda Bottle: A Soda Bottle structure attempts to generate once per 8x8 chunk region, with at least 3 chunks separating each attempt.
Unique Crafting in the Candy Cavity
The Candy Cavity offers a specific shapeless crafting recipe for a unique block:
