Discovering BetterEnd's Biomes and Structures

guide

BetterEnd introduces new biomes and structures to the End dimension, offering diverse environments to explore. The dimension features a custom generator, creating islands with varied shapes, terrain, and elevations. Inside these islands, caves containing unique resources can be found. The sky in BetterEnd features purple nebulas and stars, and each biome includes custom music, sounds, and effects to enhance the atmosphere.

BetterEnd Biomes

BetterEnd adds over 24 new biomes to the End. Most biomes in BetterEnd share a temperate climate with a temperature of 0.5 and no rain. One biome, however, features a snowy climate.

  • Crystal Mountains: This biome has a temperate climate (temperature 0.5) and no rain. Endermen are known to spawn here.
  • Dragon Graveyards: This biome also features a temperate climate (temperature 0.5) and no rain. Endermen inhabit this area.
  • Foggy Mushroomland: With a temperate climate (temperature 0.5) and no rain, this biome is home to both end slimes and endermen.
  • Glowing Grasslands: This biome has a temperate climate (temperature 0.5) and no rain. Endermen can be found here.
  • Ice Starfield: This biome stands out with a snowy climate (temperature 0.0) and no rain. Endermen spawn in this cold environment.

BetterEnd Structures

BetterEnd also introduces custom structures to the Central Island.

  • End Village: This structure generates within the End dimension. The game attempts to place one End Village per 34x34 chunk region, ensuring that each village is at least 8 chunks apart from another.
