BetterEnd: Initial Exploration and Basic Crafting
BetterEnd introduces new biomes, resources, and creatures to the End dimension, enhancing its atmosphere with unique sky visuals, music, sounds, and effects. The mod features a custom End generator, resulting in varied island shapes, terrain, and elevations, often containing caves with distinct resources.
Exploring Biomes
BetterEnd includes over 24 new biomes, each offering a unique experience. Some examples of these biomes are:
* Amber Land * Blossoming Spires * Chorus Forest
Each biome provides its own set of resources and may contain unique mobs, some of which have biome-specific variations.
Basic Crafting
BetterEnd expands crafting possibilities with 577 new recipes. Here are some examples of how to create new blocks and items:
* To make an 
Aeternium Block, combine 9 Aeternium Ingots. You can reverse this by crafting an Aeternium Block back into 9 Aeternium Ingots. * Craft 4 
Raw Amber into an 
Amber Gem, then use 4 Amber Gems to create an 
Amber Block. An Amber Block can also be broken down into 4 Amber Gems. * Combine 9 
Dense Emerald Ice to form 
Ancient Emerald Ice. * For lighting, craft an 
Andesite Lantern with 2 Andesite Slabs and

Blasting
There are 20 blasting recipes available. Most Terminite and Thallasium tools and armor can be blasted down to their respective nuggets:

Terminite Axe, Boots, Chestplate, Smith Hammer, Helmet, Hoe, Leggings, Pickaxe, and Sword all yield a 
Terminite Nugget. * 
Thallasium Axe, Boots, Chestplate, Hammer, Helmet, Hoe, Leggings, Pickaxe, and Sword all yield a 
Thallasium Nugget. * Thallasium Ore and 
Raw Thallasium can be blasted into a 
Thallasium Ingot.
Smelting
The mod also includes 29 smelting recipes:
* End Stone Bricks can be smelted into 
Cracked End Stone Bricks. * A End Lily Leaf becomes a 
End Lily Leaf Dried when smelted. * Smelting End Stone Dust produces Glass. * A 
Wet Menger Sponge can be smelted into a 
Menger Sponge. * Smelting a Purple Jellyshroom Cap yields a Slimeball. * Similar to blasting, many Terminite tools and armor can be smelted into a Terminite Nugget, including the Terminite Axe, Boots, Chestplate, Smith Hammer, Helmet, Hoe, Leggings, and Pickaxe.
