Finding Starlight Portal Ruins and Entering the Starlight Dimension

To access the Starlight Dimension and begin your adventure, you must first locate a Starlight Portal Ruin in the Overworld. These ruins serve as gateways to a mystical realm bathed in starlight, a dimension filled with wonder, danger, and discovery.

Locating Starlight Portal Ruins

There are several types of Starlight Portal Ruins, each generating in specific environments. Regardless of the type, the placement rules are consistent: each ruin type attempts to generate once per 36x36 chunk region, ensuring that different ruins are at least 30 chunks apart from one another.

The various Starlight Portal Ruin types include:

* Common Portal Ruins: These ruins generate in areas designated as `#eternal_starlight:has_portal_ruins_common`. * Cold Portal Ruins: Look for these ruins in regions marked as `#eternal_starlight:has_portal_ruins_cold`. * Desert Portal Ruins: These ruins appear in areas identified as `#eternal_starlight:has_portal_ruins_desert`. * Forest Portal Ruins: You can find these ruins in regions tagged as `#eternal_starlight:has_portal_ruins_forest`. * Jungle Portal Ruins: These ruins generate in areas specified as `#eternal_starlight:has_portal_ruins_jungle`.

Once you find a Starlight Portal Ruin, you will need to face The Gatekeeper. Overcoming this encounter will unlock the gateway, allowing you to travel to the Starlight Dimension. This new dimension features diverse biomes, rare ingredients, unique mobs, and a variety of tools and weapons to discover.
