Using the Grated Hopper for Item Filtering
The 
Grated Hopper offers an intelligent way to manage item flow by allowing you to filter which items it accepts. This item acts as a more advanced version of a standard hopper, incorporating filtering capabilities.
Grated Hopper Overview
A Grated Hopper functions similarly to a regular hopper but includes up to five filtering slots. If no filters are set, it operates exactly like a standard hopper, accepting all items. Visually, the Grated Hopper is distinguished by iron bars on its top surface.
Grated Hopper Crafting
You can craft a Grated Hopper using two distinct recipes:
* Five Iron Ingots, one Iron Bars, and one Chest. * One Iron Bars and one Hopper.
Filtering Items with the Grated Hopper
To use the filtering feature, place the items you wish the Grated Hopper to accept into its filter slots. Any items matching these filter slots will be pulled by the Grated Hopper from inventories above it or picked up from the world. Items not matching the set filters will be ignored.

Duct: This is a wooden pipe designed to move items. It sends items into connected containers but does not pull items from them. Ducts ignore items dropped on the ground and can connect in chains, working in any direction, including upwards. To craft a Duct, combine two Oak Planks and one Iron Ingot. * 
Chute: A basic wooden hopper variant that only picks up items from the ground. It does not store items; instead, it instantly passes them downwards to a connected container. The Chute only transfers items downwards. It is crafted from five Oak Planks and one Dark Oak Log. * 
Grated Hopper Minecart: This item combines the filtering power of the Grated Hopper with minecart mobility. It is crafted by combining one Grated Hopper with one Minecart. * 
Chute Minecart: This minecart variant picks up items and transfers them directly to containers positioned below its path. It is useful for automated cleanup tasks. To craft a Chute Minecart, combine one Chute with one Minecart.
