Crusher

The Crusher is an industrial machine that reduces ores and metals into dust, and can also process blocks like cobblestone into gravels and other reduced forms. This multiblock machine, which features rotating wheels and emits particles during operation, can also inflict severe damage on any living being that falls into it, outputting relevant drops.

To form the Crusher, use an Engineer's Hammer on the central fence of the long side that has the redstone input. Power is supplied to the plug on the machine's shoulder, and items are input through the drums at the top. Processed items exit from the port at the bottom of the front.

The processing speed of the Crusher depends on the power it receives, while its efficiency remains constant. A redstone signal applied to the control panel at the front will halt the crushing process. This behavior can be inverted using an Engineer's Screwdriver.

The Crusher has 24 known recipes, including:

  • Transforms various items into Amethyst Shard x4, Black Dye, Blaze Powder x4, Blue Dye x2, Bone Meal x6, Clay Ball x4, Cobbled Deepslate, Cobblestone, Dirt, Glowstone Dust x4, Gravel, Nether Quartz x4, Nether Wart x9, Prismarine Shard x8, Prismarine Shard x4, Prismarine Shard x9, Red Sand x2, Sand, Sand x2, Slag Gravel, String x4, and White Dye x2.

Metal Press

The Metal Press provides an automated method for shaping metal using a high-pressure piston and molds to create plates, rods, or other metal components.

To create the Metal Press, use an Engineer's Hammer on the piston. Power is input through the plug on top of the piston, and items are fed through conveyors in the direction of movement. The lower middle block serves as the redstone control port; right-clicking it with an Engineer's Screwdriver allows you to invert the redstone control.

For the Metal Press to function, a mold must be attached to the piston. Molds are crafted in the Engineer's Workbench using a blueprint, with the Wirecutter taking some damage during each crafting operation. Once crafted, molds are inserted into the Metal Press by right-clicking the multiblock with the mold in hand. The packing and unpacking molds can compress 4 or 9 of the same item into their storage form, or unpack them. This allows for storing ingots as blocks or automatically creating simple blocks like Sandstone.

The Metal Press has 4 known recipes, including:

  • Transforms various items into Blaze Rod, Empty Casing x2, Melon Slice x9, and Netherite Rod x2.

Arc Furnace

The Arc Furnace is a large multiblock machine designed for rapidly alloying metals and smelting ores. It features supports, a steel and firebrick vat, and electrodes that heat the vat. While it can smelt many items simultaneously, it consumes more power than simpler alternatives, making it ideal for processing large orders quickly.

The Arc Furnace is a complex machine that requires manual maintenance: its electrodes degrade after approximately four continuous days of smelting and must be replaced.

To form the structure, assemble it as shown in the documentation, then click the cauldron with an Engineer's Hammer. Energy is input via three connectors at the back. A redstone signal to the control panel at the front will deactivate the machine. Outputs are collected from the basin at the front, and slag exits through a port at the center back. The Arc Furnace automatically pushes outputs and slag to connected receptacles.

Right-clicking the panel, cauldron, or vat opens the interface. The interface includes:

  • Three slots at the top for Graphite Electrodes.
  • Twelve input slots on the left for metals and ores, each with a temperature bar indicating smelting progress.
  • A button in the top left to toggle whether items are spread or concentrated in the vat.
  • Four slots on the right for "additives," which are materials added during the crafting process, such as Coke Dust for creating Steel from melting Iron.
  • Inputs are inserted through the left hatch at the top, and additives through the right hatch.
  • Seven slots at the bottom: six output slots and one slag slot on the bottom right.
